Diary of a preggo: week 18

Diary of a preggo: week 18

Dear diary,

I hope this cliché doesn't make you sick to your stomach because it is all very sweet, but it is true: the 18 weeks are flying by, and I can hardly realise that I am already so many weeks pregnant. On the other hand, it also feels like an eternity; I can't imagine now that we weren't waiting for our baby.

And that waiting comes with a lot of spending. Since we know that we will have a girl, it seems like 17 weeks of hardly any shopping is catching up with me. Every webshop and shop is visited, shopping carts are filled, and presents from dear family and friends are delivered almost daily. Our girl will soon have more clothes than most adults have in their wardrobe. But then again, those clothes are much cuter than all the adult clothes. I promised to share the best shops and gems in the previous blog, so here is my list.

@Zo.liev

Zo.Liev is an Instagram account selling hair accessories for girls. You can put together your own hair accessories in colour, size, fabric, and shape. Glitter, leopard print, sweet little daisies, hairclips for Easter - you name it, you'll find it here. It will be delivered on cardboard paper with your little one's name. Maybe good to mention: this is not a sponsor, just a mega fan.

@Studio_heertje

Another fun Instagram selling account that shares handmade hair accessories for kids. The cutest turbans and hair bands can be found here.

Deugniet and Co

This webshop offers unique items to transform the baby & children's room into a magical place. The shop is just one big wish list, from cute animal heads, cabinets, and tipi tents to the most unique wallpapers. We chose the circus theme ourselves, and I can't wait to show it to you...

@krukels

Another Instagram sales account with all handmade gems. Colourful flared trousers to match the doll, cute crocheted playpen chairs, panther print rattles - I could go on and on, but it's best to go and have a look for yourself!

All the shops that you probably know anyway, I will list them here. Hema, C&A, Wibra, Zeeman, H&M, Mango, and Zara have really cool baby collections that you should check out. The typical baby shops also have very nice clothes, but I personally find them a bit too expensive for the short time they have to wear them.

My shopping adventures have only just begun, so I will keep you posted on newly discovered shops shortly! Do you have any tips for me? See you next week! X
